Beauty That Comes from the Earth
It is recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve and a World Heritage site. Since 1991, much of its territory has been part of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, which extends to the sea with two marine protected areas: Santa Maria di Castellabate and the Costa degli Infreschi and della Masseta.
